Kate and Rob Kitchen relocated from London to rural Sussex to turn a neglected Georgian rectory into a fabulous family home. Moving house can be a daunting prospect and relocating even more so, as Katie Kitchen discovered when she and her family left the comforts of the capital to start a new life in rural Sussex. 'We were living in a modern apartment block in Chelsea, King Road, with all the conveniences you'd expect - fine dining, shops and cafes nearby', says Kate.Much to Kate's relief, the house wasn't listed, so no plans to alter it went full steam ahead. It was all going so well until we discovered a Roman road on the property, which meant we had to consult with archeologists every step of the way!
